I am an adjunct instructor who teaches first-year composition at a variety of community college campuses in the Houston area. Here you can find some of the materials I use in that class.

If you wish to use my materials in your class, you’re welcome to! All I ask is that you give me credit for developing it on the material.

Course aims & philosophy: On this page I talk about some of the more important policies in my course and some of my teaching philosophy. I include some of the language used in my syllabus.

Course materials: Here I include links to my assignment prompts, handouts, and Powerpoint lectures.

Course readings: On this page I list the most important readings I use for the class. If you plan to use any of my assignments, I suggest looking through this list to see if there are any readings that would be useful or necessary for that assignment. Most of these files are too large to upload to WordPress, but if you would like a PDF of anything listed here, feel free to email me.
